Q. I can see the web page but I can’t see any video?
A. Please ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed – download the latest version here.
Q. My computer has the latest version of Adobe Flash Player but I still can’t see any video stream.
A. Be sure that your organisation or local network is allowing user to view video online. Some organisations ban the use of viewing video. Please check with your network administrator.
Q. I can see the video but I can’t hear anything.
A. Ensure that you computer has speakers attached and the volume is set to an appropriate level.
Should you have any issues with the player working on your computer then please check the following:
Is Direct X installed on your PC? Direct X is required to render the video properly if there are any issues with Direct X then the player may give poor performance -download the latest version here.
Have you checked that you are running the latest video drivers for your graphics card? In rare circumstances old graphics drivers have been seen to cause issues with the operation of the MetaPlayer. Installing the latest drivers may resolve this issue.
